On 10th July 2025, UrbSafe Ghana proudly launched its Community Road Safety Initiative at Choggu Demonstration Junior High School in Tamale. Located near one of the city’s busiest and most hazardous intersections, the school is surrounded by speeding vehicles and motorcycles. The initiative was designed to address the urgent need for road safety awareness among students who face serious risks simply crossing the road to attend classes. Through hands-on road-crossing drills, interactive classroom safety lessons, and placard-led advocacy walks, UrbSafe empowered students to navigate their environment safely. The outreach not only educated but also inspired students to become advocates for road safety in their own communities.
