Kamaldeen Mohammed is a Co-Founder and Director of Research and Data Analytics at UrbSafe Ghana. He has expertise in Climate Change, Sustainable Agriculture, and Environmental Health. At UrbSafe, he drives innovative climate change adaptation programs.

He also serves as a Measurement and Analytics Specialist, a Research Consultant with the International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), and a PhD Candidate in Geography, Environment, and Sustainability

Mohammed is deeply committed to advancing evidence-based strategies that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income settings. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

He previously served in Ghana’s public sector for over six years as a Health Policy Analyst – Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Health. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has been recognized with honors such as:

  • American Public Health Association Injury Control and Environmental Health (ICEH) Roads Scholar
  • Emerging Public Leaders Ghana Inaugural Fellowship
